Raskin

To present you Raskin 2, our engineering team has implemented a total of just over 250 new features, fixes and optimizations. Ranging from compatibility with the latest OS X release to improved memory management and a host of interface improvements. Here’s a selection of smaller but nevertheless very practical enhancements:

Raskin, a constitutional law professor, was reelected to his third term in the House in November. He serves on the House Oversight and Judiciary committees, where he played an outsized role in. Raskin (and the feminine variant Raskina) is a surname of Yiddish origin, a matronymic from 'Raske', nickname for Rachel. Several notable people share this name.

  • All folders now show an index of their subfolders for quick access – and a breadcrumb navigation back to their parent folders.
  • Below any selected file, you can now see the icon of the application that the file will open in.
  • “Reveal in Finder” buttons in the Toolbar and top right within selected folders.
  • New “File > Recent Places” menu gives you quick access to Places that you have hidden from the Surface. Or to Places that have been automatically hidden because they were no longer accessible like from server volumes or external drives.
  • New “File > Add Files And Folders” menu item gives you another option for adding items to your Surface (apart from dragging them to the Surface or dock icon).

If you’ve ever wanted a clearer example of a politician being a complete phony, look no further than “Impeachment Manager,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.).

At one point in the Democrats incessant ramblings on the opening day of the Senate impeachment hearing of former President Donald Trump, Democrat members of Congress spoke about how they all narrowly escaped death during the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6. During his time, Raskin brought up the story of how his daughter and son-in-law were 'barricaded' in an office in the Capitol building and spoke of what his daughter allegedly said to him after the harrowing ordeal.

And when they [Raskin’s daughter and son-in-law] were finally rescued, over an hour later by Capitol officers and we were together, I hugged them and I apologized and I told my daughter Tabitha [pauses for a dramatic drink of water], who’s 24 and a brilliant algebra teacher and teacher for America, I told her how sorry I was and I promised her that it would not be like this again the next time she came back to the Capitol with me. And you know what she said? She said, ‘Dad, I don’t want to come back to the Capitol.’ [crying with no tears]

And scene.

Raskin

Raskin, and a large majority of the members of Congress love talking in run-on sentences, so I apologize for the jibber-jabber above. It's what the man said.

Whether there's any truth to Raskin's story will most likely never be known, but at least there was a moment during this hearing that didn't make you want to fall asleep.

Remember @RepRaskin refused to vote to certify Trump's win four years ago.
Now he's leading Trump's impeachment, saying he incited violence for...questioning the election results?
Only a partisan hack could defend anything he says on the topic.
